- 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk (sometimes I do half and half)
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger (or dried)
- 3 inches of fresh turmeric (or 2-3teaspoons dried)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1-2 teaspoons of honey
- a pinch of pepper to help with absorption
Blend it all up in a blender, and then warm on a stove top. I have a blendtech so there is no chunks left. You may need to strain out chunks with a normal blender.
Ginger and turmeric are both anti inflammatory. Turmeric is basically good for every part of our bodies, but it is very good at preventing cancers and dementia and Alzheimer’s. It heal arthritis or any other type of inflammation. It can help with depression, anxiety, and can heal the body in many ways. Turmeric stains everything! But it actually helps whiten your teeth! Ginger fights off infections and has antibacterial properties to it. They are both very beautifying for skin. See why I try to drink it once a day!!!
By the way, I don’t peel my ginger or turmeric, I just throw it in the blender whole.
