HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING
Health coaching is based on evidence-based clinical interventions such as motivational interviewing to facilitate behavior change, the transtheoretical model of change, goal setting, active listening, aggregation and trending of health outcome metrics, and prevention.
Health coaching uses a holistic approach, that is individually tailored to each client, that focuses on the entire person. Health coaching help clients to develop self-awareness around their inner workings that guide decisions and motivators, which potentially leads to transformation.
A health coach is an ally that guides and supports clients to help them feel their best through personal wellness goals, leading to transformation.
Health coaches help clients uncover solutions that may not be initially obvious to the client.
Health coaches improve a client’s quality of life by transforming the client’s well-being by helping the client identify what they want to change, how to make those changes, and holding the client accountable as they make sustainable lifestyle changes.
